British Skin Foundation launches a national children’s art competition to win a 'Children’s Party Capsule' on The London Eye
As part of the 2008 Respect Your Skin awareness campaign and to promote the importance of looking after your children’s skin, the British Skin Foundation has launched a national children’s art competition in March for a chance to win a ‘Children’s Party Capsule’ with up to 20 of their friends and family on the London Eye.
The nationwide competition is open to Primary School children only, who are being asked to draw or paint a picture entitled ‘My Skin’ and submit it along with a maximum of 2 sentences telling us what their skin means to them. Drawings or paintings must be sent on an A4 piece of paper with their name, home address, contact details, school and age to British Skin Foundation, 4 Fitzroy Square, London, W1T 5HQ. Or, they can scan in their entry and email it to indy@bad.org.uk. The deadline for all entries is May 31st 2008.
Indy Rihal from the British Skin Foundation says: “This competition presents a great opportunity for children to celebrate and talk about their skin with their parents and their teachers. It encourages children to illustrate what their skin means to them in a creative way, for an incredible prize.” Visit www.respectyourskin.co.uk for more information.
